It also makes his Cobra Clutch routes just a matter of single button presses that I have plenty of time to switch to regular grip in order to type in (ie wd 1+4, 2 4 r1 r1, 4 3 r2 r1) iSW being -> -> n -> l1 is more or less mandatory. My reasoning is that in claw grip I find those moves both more awkward and more common than 1+4 or 2+3, and having the more common button combos on a single press generally makes my throws more reliable.
